Congratulations to Lower Moreland High School, which was named to the 2025 AP School Honor Roll at the Silver level! The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP Programs are delivering results and broadening participation for students.
Schools can earn the Honor Roll recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing their school’s college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.
A remarkable 91% of the 507 AP tests taken in Lower Moreland in 2025 were a 3, 4, or 5. (A score of 3 is considered "Qualified" to receive college credit and placement.) The High School offers 25 Advanced Placement courses.

For the first time, Lower Moreland made it to the final round, performing on stage with the top 6 out of 47 teams. While LMMS did not take home the top spot this year, we did come home with a few very special recognitions -
The Reinventing Tomorrow special award, presented by Jacob's Engineering
and the Honorable Mention award for placing 4th overall in the competition.

LMTSD will be closed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, due to the forecast for inclement winter weather. The closure includes:
All school and district offices are closed to students, staff, and the community.
The Kinderlinks program (before- and after-school) is canceled.
All school-related and community group activities are canceled.
Nonpublic school transportation services are cancelled.
Please take care and enjoy the snow day.

Mr. Gregorio is a local business owner who has extensive coaching experience in Southeastern Pennsylvania, including multiple years coaching at Abington Senior High School, his alma mater Bishop McDevitt High School, and the George School, where he was the Head Coach from 2019-2023. He played college football at Valley Forge Military College and was a 3-year Varsity letter winner at Bishop McDevitt.
Mr. Gregorio is currently the Head Coach for the Lower Moreland High School Varsity Football team. In the past two years, the team has posted back-to-back winning seasons (6-4 both years). In 2024, the team qualified for the District playoffs for the first time in nearly a decade. Under Mr. Gregorio’s leadership, the Football program has grown three years in a row, and he was an instrumental figure in the establishment of the Lower Moreland Middle School Football program, which started this year.
Mr. Gregorio brings with him 35+ years of playing and coaching experience at the elementary, high school, and college levels.
Lower Moreland looks forward to having Mr. Gregorio lead two of our interscholastic programs for years to come. We wish him much success during the inaugural season of Flag Football. Go Lions!!

All school and district offices are closed to students, staff, and the community.
The Kinderlinks program (before- and after-school) is canceled.

If a school closure becomes necessary on Monday, January 26, or Tuesday, January 27, both will be utilized as traditional snow days. Our calendar allocates two such built-in days for severe weather, which means schools will be completely shut down, and students are encouraged to enjoy winter activities safely at home. If weather conditions prevent a safe return to classes on Wednesday, January 28, we will implement a FID day (Flexible Instruction Day). Further details about utilizing a Flexible Instruction Day will be shared at that time.

The Summer Activity Fair connects families with dozens of local camps, enrichment programs, and summer activities.
