The Lower Moreland Township School District (LMTSD) is pleased to announce a new feature that enables you to easily synchronize key district dates with your personal digital calendar system.
To use this new syncing capability, simply visit the Events section of any school's or the district's website and select either the Google or iCal sync option:


LMTSD Students have exceeded growth standards in all PSSA Math and English Language Arts (ELA) grade levels. The district’s high school students also exceeded growth standards in Keystone Biology and met the growth standards in Keystone Algebra I and Keystone Literature.

To register for this event, please go to https://www.ericsrx.com/lowermorelandstudents. The COVID-19 and flu vaccines may be received in the same appointment slot.
All LMTSD students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and have a signed consent form. This opportunity will only be made available to currently enrolled LMTSD students.
The registration link will close on Wednesday, October 15 at 12:00 pm in order to make all necessary preparations for this clinic.

Mr. Krasna coached Varsity Girls Basketball at New Hope-Solebury HS for eight seasons, compiling a record of 141-46. This currently stands as the most wins of any Girls Basketball coach in the school’s history. Mr. Krasna was named Bicentennial Athletic League Coach of the Year for four consecutive seasons from 2015-2018, winning a District title in 2016 and winning four league titles during his tenure at New Hope.
In 2010, Coach Krasna guided the U-16 girls Philadelphia Maccabi Team to a national championship, winning the gold medal in Baltimore, Maryland. In 2012, Mr. Krasna was named one of the top 50 youth coaches in the United States by the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). He was coaching middle school Girls Basketball in Bristol, PA at the time of receiving this honor.
Mr. Krasna has had numerous other successes during his 40 years coaching both Boys and Girls Basketball teams. He spent time as the Freshman Boys Basketball coach at Council Rock HS North, where he also assisted his son Jesse with the Varsity Boys Basketball team.
Lower Moreland is looking forward to having Mr. Krasna as a member of the Lower Moreland coaching community. We wish him much success in the future and look forward to his leadership of the program. Go Lions!!

Lower Moreland Township's Annual Trunk or Treat will be held on Saturday, October 18, from 6-8:30 pm at 3901 Heaton Road. (Rain date is October 19.) Donations of canned goods will be collected.

Lower Moreland is excited to announce that Nevaeh Taylor has been selected as the first Head Coach of the Lower Moreland High School Girls Volleyball program.
Ms. Taylor is currently a 4th year undergraduate student at Temple University pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the College of Public Health. A graduate of Neshaminy High School, she played Girls Volleyball all four years as a setter. She also played Basketball and competed on the Track and Field team while at Neshaminy.
Ms. Taylor is ready to take on the challenges of building a new program, and her enthusiasm for the sport will undoubtedly inspire the current and future Girls Volleyball players in the District. She will be joined by her brother Anthony, who will serve as the Assistant Varsity coach for the program. Anthony is teaching Chemistry this year at Lower Moreland High School.
Lower Moreland would like to welcome Ms. Taylor to our coaching community. We wish her much success as she works to develop our young athletes and build a winning program. Go Lions!


This is Mr. Hessenthaler’s first Head Coaching position. Born in Bucks County, Mr. Hessenthaler attended Holy Ghost Preparatory School in Bensalem, PA, graduating in 2015. He graduated from the University of Scranton in 2019 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and then attended St. Joseph’s University, where he obtained his MBA in 2021.
Mr. Hessenthaler served as an Assistant Coach for the Football program at the George School from 2020-2022. In the summer of 2022, when LMHS hired Dominic Gregorio to become the new Head Coach for the Football program, Mr. Hessenthaler joined Coach Gregorio’s staff, overseeing various defensive positional groups as an assistant.
Lower Moreland would like to welcome Mr. Hessenthaler to our coaching community. We wish him much success as he works to build the middle school program and prepare our student-athletes for success at the high school level. Go Lions!!
