    Bloom's Literature This database includes many critical articles by Professor Harold Bloom or by other authors, which are reproduced in books edited by H. Bloom. Look for overviews and synopses, analyses and literary criticism, topics, themes, and literary movements. The newest feature is 100 plays on video.

    Contemporary Authors Online (POWER Library) Biographical and critical information on 20th and 21st centuries' current writers of fiction, poetry, plays, nonfiction, and screenwriters.

    The Explicator through Literature Resource Center is a journal with peer-reviewed articles, which provide explanations and literary criticism for all literary works: poems, novels, plays, and short stories.

    GALE Literature Resource Center - A superlative source for literary criticism based on excerpts from Gale's reference books, such as Novels for Students, Nineteenth-Century Literature Criticism, Contemporary Literary Criticism, Poetry Criticism, Drama Criticism, and many scholarly journals.

    Gale Student Resources in Context - Provides many databases with biographical, historical, and literary criticism about authors and their works. Includes Exploring Poetry, which provides full text poems with criticism and a line-by-line explanation, and Exploring Novels. Also includes updated articles from many periodicals (including The New York Times), primary source documents, and multimedia.

    GVRL (Gale Virtual Reference Library): contains hundreds of e-books for literary criticism. IncludesTwayne's Authors Online Series for English and American authors and 16 volumes of Novels for Students.

       A comprehensive database for literary criticism that contains many full-text critical articles. Includes major critical resources such as Masterplots, Critical Survey of Poetry, - Long Fiction, - Drama, and - Short Fiction, as well as author biographies. A source called Critical Insights is excellent!

    LitFinder by Gale - Contains overs 150,000 full-text poems including explanations and criticism. Also has short stories, speeches, and plays with explanations. Provides biographies.
     
    Literature Criticism Online has Poetry Criticism, which consists of 88 volumes in eBooks.
     
    Novels for Students is part of Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL). Provides critical overviews of novels from various cultures and time periods. Includes discussions of plot, characters, themes, and structure as well as the work's cultural and historical significance.
     
    Twayne's Authors Series is part of Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL). It consists of over 1,200 eBooks that give you literary criticism about an author and his works or an individual literary work - Twayne's English Authors, U.S. Authors, World Authors, Short Fiction, and Masterworks (single work).
