Welcome to Mr. Blair's Homepage
With 14 years experience, I have taught many classes under my certification including: Personal Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Sports Management, Information Technology, Accounting, Career Pathways, and many more. I love teaching and the impact I get to have on students daily. However, I was not always a teacher. As a UDEL Alumnus (UD!!!!), I majored in Business Finance and worked at Merrill Lynch after graduation. After realizing a desk job was not for me, I pursued a career in collegiate athletics. I worked at the Atlantic 10 Conference as the Championships Assistant, where I managed all the championship tournaments that the A10 offered. I did a lot of traveling, met awesome people, and even got to work the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament as the team official greeter. Even after all of these great experiences, my love for working with kids and teaching what I knew always brought me back to the idea of teaching. The rest is, as they say, history.
Academically, I am bringing a great, authentic Personal Finance curriculum to Lower Moreland High School where the students will get to experience a real life road from graduating college to retirement. The students, community, administrators, and parents will be impressed and proud of what my students accomplish this year.
Personally, I'm a avid Eagles fan and love the game of football. I'm also a big Navy fan as my bother attended the United States Naval Academy... Go Navy! Beat Army! I have three nephews between my brother's one son, Cian (pronounced Key-in) and my sister's two sons, Carter and Jackson. I try and stay in shape (it's been tough the last two years) and I have already completed one bucket list item where I completed a full ironman triathlon. I live in Langhorne with my wife, Sarah, my golden retriever, Mac, and two beautiful daughters, Shea and Rylan. I look forward to this new adventure at Lower Moreland and making an impact on both the business students as well as the community.
