    School Counselor

Hello!  My name is Shannon K. Dallahan and I am thrilled to be a part of the Lower Moreland Township School District community.  I am the school counselor at Pine Road Elementary School for children in kindergarten, first, and second grades.

I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Scranton and I earned my Master's Degree in Counseling and Human Relations, and my education specialist's certification in elementary school counseling, from Villanova University.  When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family (my husband, son, and daughter), traveling to the Poconos (Lake Wallenpaupack) or the city (NYC or Philadelphia), taking dance classes, and running.

Throughout a typical day at Pine Road, you will find me doing many different things: meeting with students individually and in small groups to discuss things like making friends, getting along with others, making good choices, dealing with stress and change, and many other things; doing large group classroom lessons on topics such as friendship, bullying prevention, teamwork, and diversity; and meeting with staff and parents to discuss how to best support students' strengths, struggles, and needs.

Please get in touch with me if you think there is any way that I can be of help to you, your child(ren), or your family.
