Welcome to the Student Council Information Page!

     America's future leaders are sitting in elementary classrooms today....and one of the best ways to foster their leadership and academic skills is through a student council.  Student council is democracy in action.  It teaches children that they truly can make a difference-at home, at school, in the community, and in the greater world society.

      Student Council is open to all students in grades 4,5,and 6.  Each homeroom elects a representative who is responsible for promoting leadership qualities.  The representatives carry on school traditions and customs.  Their job is to encourage students to get involved in both social and organizational problem solving in the school.
