• 4/29/14 - This week is our concert! (Dress rehearsal tomorrow ~7:15-8:30. Concert call 6:15 on Thurs, 5/1)  

    NEXT WEEK (5/5-5/8) is NOTES OF HOPE and MURRAY AVE SHOWCASE.  Here is the order of events:  

    Mon, 5/5 - Final rehearsal and pizza party, 5:30-6:15, normal choir room 
    *NOTHING ON TUES.  THIS IS A CHANGE FROM THE PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT*

    Weds, 5/7 - Notes of Hope Dress Rehearsal right after school (done by 4pm, I assume, because we sing Hallelujah first) in the HS auditorium   AND  Murray Ave showcase LATER THAT SAME DAY, 6:30pm at MA in the lower gym.  (I will be staying through, you are welcome to do that as well.) 

    Thurs, 5/8 - Notes of Hope performances.  Call is 6:15pm in the HS choir room (starts at 7pm in the HS auditorium)

    ***YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BUY THE $10 SHIRT TO PERFORM FOR NOTES OF HOPE.  THIS MONEY GOES TO THE CHARITY! ***

    3/20/14 - HONOR CHOIR on 3/24/14 will run from 6-6:50pm only (non-day choir member's extra rehearsal will start at 5:30pm)  AND is CANCELED COMPLETELY on 3/31/14 because of drama club/spring musical schedule.   HONOR CHOIR MEMBERS, MAKE CAREFUL NOTE OF OUR FULL REHEARSAL SCHEDULE.  YOU MUST ATTEND THOSE.

    11/14/13:  SAVE THE DATE:  Monday, December 16th, after school - 7pm:  Saint Joseph's Manor Holiday Concert! 
    Right after school we will rehearse a few easy carols, have a pizza party dinner, then take a bus from school over to the retirement home!  We will sing at 6pm and should be back at school by 7pm.  (This is all pending official approval, but everything has been submitted!)
     
    11/6/13: FULL HIGH SCHOOL CONCERT CHOIR will be going to VIRGINIA with the Band and Orchestra! :-)
    Honor Choir members need to email Miss Lee by lunchtime on Friday (11/8/13) to say if they will be going or not! 


    Important Information:
    - Normal rehearsal on 10/21/13:  (4:45-5:15 for non-day-choir members),  5:30-7 for everyone.

    -NOTE THE EARLIER TIME THIS WEEK: Rehearsal on 10/14/13  is 4-5:30 for normal choir, including the early meeting for non-day-choir members (3-3:45). 

    -NON-DAY-CHOIR MEMBERS:  We will rehearse the Concert Choir music EVERY MONDAY, 4:45-5:20pm!  Thank you! 

    - PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY:  Saturday, November 2nd, 2013.  Huntingdon Valley Library "Grand Old Flag" Veteran's day celebration: CANCELED.  We are no longer going to perform for this due to the large number of schedule conflicts.  My deepest apologies, and many thanks to those of you who shared my enthusiasm!  We will certainly perform more in the community in the future!!

    - PENDING PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY:  St Joseph's Manor nursing home Holiday Performance.  Possibly the week after our winter concert.  More info TBA.
