No food, drinks, or gum are allowed in the Library. Water bottles belong in your book bag, not near a computer.
Come to the Library with a PASS from your Study Hall supervisor or from your classroom teacher. Passes are not required before or after school or when visiting with your class.
Please time-stamp your pass at the Circulation Desk and deposit it in
the Lucite box at the counter. All passes will be returned to the
teachers.
No student may leave the Library without asking for a pass.
Students need to fill out the Library SIGN-OUT SHEET at the Circulation
Desk by printing clearly. A librarian will then give out the Pass.
Please sign-in when you return.Students may NOT leave the Library before the end of the period. WAIT for the bell.
Maintain a quiet atmosphere. Respect the rights of others to work effectively.
Use appropriate language.
Ipods may be used in the Library provided that the music is inaudible so as not to disturb others.
Cell Phones: You cannot make a call on your cell phone in the Library. If it is important, you may text, or you can make the call in the hallway (with permission).
Make sure you cite information properly from print and Internet sources using LMHS Librarys MLA Guide. Give credit where credit is due!
